I am finally doing it. Blogging that is.
With this blog I hope to:
1. express myself via my art.
2. connect to others who have the same interests.
3. find people who "understand" my art. (This is not an easy thing to do according to most of my family and friends)
Once I figure out how to get my blog set up, I will be posting pictures of some of my art and welcoming feedback. I will also be posting pictures about all things vintage--one of my great loves.
Tune in next time...

Marianna, I understand your art! Isn't it wonderful to be connected to people who DO understand? My family doesn't! I can relate to the gal who is confused by numbers...!! Love your blog so far...looking forward to future posts.
Great ATC's! I especially like the background in wallflower! How is it done?
Thanks for the great complements! Linda, I cheated and used a background paper that came free in one of my Somerset Studio mags (my great weakness). I wanted to pick something that the image of the girl, which came from a vintage Vicoria's Secret ad by the way, would sort of melt into since she was a wallflower. I believe that the colors of her outfit, skin, and hair are mirrored in the background and wish I remembered who was the original artist of this particular paper but it's all cut up now.
Great start on your blog! I love Taintor - buy a desk calendar every year. You have captured the spirit; keep up the good work.

Welcome to blogland! I found you through Elizabeth's blog "Altered Book Lover." I am in Ohio too...I enjoy your use of vintage images...and have to smile at the "Midol" piece! the only good thing about being pregnant or menopausal...! Best of luck with the blogging, and keep making art!
